Welcome to the Council on Virginia's Future website. The Council was established to develop a Roadmap for Virginia's Future and to assess the state's progress toward long-term goals.
Putting Virginia's Future First
Virginia has a well-deserved reputation for good governance and sound financial management. Striving for a better future will help ensure that Virginia remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
What's New
Top Performance State 2008
Virginia
has again been named a Top

States Government Performance Project
(GPP). The
GPP evaluates how well states manage
people, money, information, and infrastructure
-- and Virginia's grade of A- puts
it at the top for the second
time in a row.
